What is DotNetNuke?

DotNetNuke is a fully customizable, open source content management system based on the Microsoft .NET platform. Developed and supported by a community of over 300,000 registered users, DotNetNuke allows users to create and maintain their commercial web site, partner extranet or corporate intranet with no programming required.

Feature-Rich Tools

Here's just a few of the items supported by the DotNetNuke platform:

Page Editor - Create new pages using a simple, browser-based text editor. Set up your site map in minutes, with all navigation links updated automatically as your site structure changes.

Document Library - Need to share documents with your customers or trading partners? Set up an online file library to make your files available for download.

Secure Logon - Restrict certain areas of your site using username/password security. Allow users to register online, or create the accounts yourself. Then, grant the user permission to only the areas or documents you wish them to see.

Product Catalog - Maintain an online product catalog using a template-based form. User-defined product categories allow your catalog to be as flexible as possible.

Events Calendar - Need to maintain and display a list of events, such as upcoming tradeshows? The Events module allows you to create new events with just a few mouse clicks, and display them anywhere on your site.

Site Search - All content on your site is automatically searchable via DotNetNuke's built-in search engine.

If that's not enough, DotNetNuke has additional modules for the following:

  • Banner Ads
  • Blogs
  • Contact Lists
  • Discussion Forums
  • FAQs
  • Image Galleries
  • Links
  • News & Announcments
  • News Feeds (RSS)
  • Surveys
